Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a monthly add-on rate and the effective rate (EAR)?+

An add-on rate is charged on the full original loan amount for the whole term, so the true annual cost (EAR) is roughly double the nominal add-on rate. Always compare offers by their EAR — shown in the loans table — not the headline monthly rate.

How do I estimate my monthly payment?+

Use the loan calculator: enter the amount and term you want, and it estimates the monthly payment using the lowest live effective rate for that range. The loans table below then shows the offers that fit.

How much can I borrow with a personal loan in the Philippines?+

Most banks lend from around ₱10,000 up to ₱1–2 million, depending on your income and credit history. The exact limit is set after the lender assesses your application — compare amount ranges in the loans table.

What documents do I usually need to apply?+

Typically a valid government ID, proof of income (payslips or ITR), and proof of address. Exact requirements vary by lender.
